Where to begin?
Once again, its been a few months since I've blogged. Oops.
I last wrote about moving into a new place, ironically enough my husband and I have picked up and once again moved. I think moving just jogs my desire to share details of my life to strangers.
Jeff recently joined the Air National Guard and we're assuming he'll start basic training and technical school in the next coming months. It will be sad to have him gone for a number of months, but its all for the best. We've moved in with my parents. Believe me, I know how that sounds. As newlyweds, your parent's house is probably the last place you'd want to be within the first year or so of your marriage, right? Correct. But while Jeff is gone, I won't have to come home to an empty house or pay rent. So we're not that unfortunate. :)
As far as changes that don't involve moving. I am in beauty school. I'm studying esthetics, which pertains to skin care. Its always been a goal of mine and I decided I would be happier trying to pursue my esthetics dream now instead of later, when I'm old and tired from having jobs I don't have a passion for. But if you need a facial, you know who to talk to.
Jeff and I recently bought a scooter. Its by far the best investment we've made as a couple. Not because of how economical it is, but because its just so much fun to ride around on. Transportation wise, I don't think much of it, but its just so dang cute. I love it
I've also started at a new job. I am working as an office assistant in a local chocolate shop downtown.
That's just a brief update of my life to make for my lack of writing.
I've been looking for body scrub recipes and found quite a few delicious ones that leave your skin glowing. In the middle of researching, I found a delicious recipe for muffins that I tried out this morning. I thought I'd share both. :)
Melt in your mouth muffins
This recipe is just super simple and easy to whip out. I never thought I would want to be the kind of person that makes home made muffins for breakfast, this recipe is definitely changing my mind about that decision.
Healing body scrub
The ingredients in this scrub are pretty generic as far as body scrubs go, but the results are just phenomenal. Your skin will be smooth and soft and look more supple after one batch. Moisturizers galore! This is also a great idea for a quick gift. Who on earth could resist the smell of lavender?
I don't think I'll make the promise of trying to be more diligent in writing because I'm pretty sure I won't be. But who knows?
